So excited to be celebrating my book birthday in the Annex next door to Annie Blooms books. There will be music and dancing and poetry--a celebration not just of Last of the Name but of the Irish Culture that made this book possible.
In celebration of my new book LAST OF THE NAME I'll be gathering with members of the Portland Irish Club called Comhaltus (coal-tus). There will be time to share our family immigration stories and reflect on immigration today.
One of the funnest poetry events of the year. Oregon Writer's Colony host a poetry reading with one poet from every decade of age from 10 and under to 90 and older. It's a great celebration and I feel proud to represent my decade.
